PLANS FOR STOUFFVILLE

Stouffville is a great Town and we are only getting better assuming we keep our finances in order, protect what has been built up since Stouffville was founded in 1804, and keep on growing in a way that we all can enjoy. We need to remember our history and heritage and help connect our growing and diverse population with each other. The new expanded leisure centre, maintaining a strong Main Street by having a focus to build a strong core in addition to the services in the outlying areas will be important in the coming four years.

Results

I believe in living within our means, producing results with strong services, and facilitating the environment that allows for managed growth.

My extensive experience in running a business and having expert knowledge in the area of environmental engineering and consulting should be an asset to Whitchurch-Stouffville.

Strategy

I believe in respecting our history, working with others to create results, and keeping our finances strong. Our property tax increases should not exceed inflation.

Planning

The planned growth for Whitchurch-Stouffville should be managed well and expanded to meet the expanded service requirements of our residents. We must maintain a strong centre and Main Street and not only invest in new development in the periphery.

We do not need an airport in Pickering on Stouffville's doorstep and where I can I will be vocal in expressing that opinion.
